Christopher Hitchens RIP.

Profoundly sad to hear of the death of Christopher Hitchens. Without a doubt one of the most likeable and interesting of the 'attack atheists'.
I wish Richard Dawkins no ill whatsoever, but he bores the knickers off me. And his sneery voice, which ranges from Bond villain to affronted old maid, doesn't have nearly the euphonious listenability of The Hitch. He'll probably live to be a hundred.

  1. Richard Dawkins will never win any converts to his cause until he realises that, as Simon Cowell put it: “Beyond raw talent, the Likeability Factor is huge,” He may have huge brains, but until the chip on his shoulder is removed, his impact will be minimal.

I'm not familiar with Christopher Hitchens' work, but it is always sad to hear of an untimely death, especially of someone with so much to offer.
